How to turn photos into a PDF on Android

Combine JPG or PNG images into one PDF in your Android browser, with page ordering, rotation, paper sizes, and a final quality check.

A folder of photos is not always the easiest thing to send. A single PDF keeps a set of receipts, handwritten notes, or scanned pages together and gives the recipient a clear reading order. You can create one using Cadava’s Image to PDF tool in your browser, without uploading your images.

Prepare the photos first

Choose JPG or PNG files. HEIC, animated images, and other formats are not accepted by this version of the tool. If your camera produces another format, export a JPG or PNG copy from a suitable image app first.

Crop unnecessary backgrounds, check that text is sharp, and rotate sideways photos before you begin, or use the rotation control after adding them. A PDF does not automatically straighten a page or recover blurry letters. Keep your original photos so you can return to them later.

Create the PDF in your browser

  1. Open Image to PDF and choose your images. You can select more than one.
  2. Use the up and down arrows to arrange the pages. Each image becomes one PDF page.
  3. Rotate any image that needs it, or remove images you do not want.
  4. Choose A4, US Letter, or Fit each image, then choose a margin setting.
  5. Select Create PDF. When it is ready, select Download PDF.

The tool accepts up to 20 images, with a limit of 10 MB per image and 40 MB in total. Each image must be at most 24 megapixels. These limits do not guarantee that a low-memory phone can process every batch: try fewer images if the browser struggles.

Choose the right page size

A4 and US Letter create consistent portrait pages and fit each image inside the selected margins. A wide photo will have space above and below it. Fit each image sizes each page around its image, so pages can have different dimensions.

Images are placed on white, converted to JPEG, and resized to a maximum 2400-pixel edge. This can change fine detail and transparency. The output is intended for convenient document sharing, not lossless image archiving.

Check the result before sending

Open the downloaded PDF and check page order, orientation, readable text, and page count. The tool does not perform OCR, so photographed words do not become searchable text automatically. If you already have PDF files rather than images, use Merge PDF instead.
